Antilaius is a post modern operetta which briefly aligns the reciprocal concept of the Oedipus complex with that of Deon van der Walt - a South African tenor who sang in most of the main opera houses globally. The opera makes gestures which imply that this is endemic to modern culture by employing textual references from France as a father to the concept of it killing its own children through Liberty. It is performed in the artscape theatre live and by the cape tow philharmonic orchestra under the brilliant baton of Kamal Kahn with members of uct opera school and Cape Town opera.

Any performance of the operetta must be performed with the express permission of Adrian More and Joan Hambidge.
